This position does require travel to our other locations.
Experience with Athena is a plus.
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Assist the provider as he/she treats patients in a friendly, efficient and professional manner.
Essential Functions:
Friendly professionalism a must.
Must possess strong computer skills with knowledge of EMRs Ensure that all necessary documents are present before the patient visit Escort patients to and from the exam room Assist doctor in clinic, to include reviewing patient's medical information, preparing injections, casting/DME, following doctor orders Verify doctor orders are appropriately documented Monitor messages and respond in a timely manner with appropriate documentation Obtain lab results, when needed E-Prescribing and PDMP Ability to multi-task and communicate with fellow staff Be prepared to help out where a need exists in the office Willingness and ability to learn new office functions The jobholder must demonstrate a Team Spirit attitude with competencies applicable to the job position.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
