The Activities Assistant will be responsible for assisting in the planning, organization and execution of recreational, social and leisure activities for our clients.
Our ideal candidate will have a passion for working with elderly individuals and possess a creative and energetic approach to providing a fun and engaging environment.
Responsibilities Assist in the planning, organization and execution of social, recreational and leisure activities Engage clients in group and individual activities, including games, crafts and exercise programs Document and maintain client attendance records for activities Coordinate with other staff members to ensure smooth delivery of activities Provide excellent customer service to clients and their families Assist with setting up and cleaning up after activities Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience working in a similar role, preferably with elderly individuals Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to take direction and work cooperatively in a team environment Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) is preferred.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
