, one of the oldest law firms in DeLand, is seeking an experienced full-time legal assistant or paralegal to help support our growing law firm.
The successful candidate will have experience in Elder Law (trusts, wills, probate, guardianship) Qualifications - Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong Customer Service skills Extremely detail-oriented and able to prioritize a workload Must be able to work in a team environment Must be well organized, a self-starter, take direction well and be able to work independently Able to learn new software quickly Responsibilities - Daily tasks will include:
data entry; draft and review legal documents; organize and maintain digital and physical client files; managing client questions and concerns; file electronic pleadings; maintain client confidentiality Experience - Must have at least 2 years legal assistant experience in two or more of the above types of law Salary based on experience $18-$25 an hour.
