The position would involve assisting lawyers and paralegals with our ongoing caseload.
Although we are a small firm, we are extremely busy and growing.
We are looking to fill this position for the long-term and the firm offers great benefits for our full-time employees.
Requirements:
Attention to detail in grammar and formatting of documents.
Common knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
The ability to learn and use law office software.
Computer savvy is a must.
We are looking for someone with great communication skills that exude confidence to excel in this position.
A team player and someone who can work independently as well.
The employee will be required to utilize his or her automobile to run errands.
Duties:
Assisting lawyers and paralegals with various tasks.
Daily office errands to court house, post office, CPA's offices, etc.
(all local).
Assisting with phones and in reception as needed and scheduling appointments.
Serving as a witness and assist paralegals in preparing documents.
Step in to help the team in any way needed.
Be flexible to learn new things.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
