The Director of Quality is Accountable to the VP Quality and is responsible for overseeing the Quality assurance and regulatory requirements of the manufacturing sites across Americas Quality activities and responsible for site QMS for Fluid technology Asset protection (FTAP).
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Build, develop and manage a high performing multi-site Manufacturing Quality Operations team and Deploy quality requirements for BU specific products.
Collaborate across the organization at all levels, across functional groups and geographic locations, including executive management.
Lead the Manufacturing Quality teams to ensure BU quality standards are consistently achieved and maintained.
Ensure that processes are sustainable and develop action plans to address weaknesses or deficiencies.
Align site and quality objectives with the Pall Corporation Strategic Priorities, Operations Objectives, and the Global Quality System to assure effective and efficient use of resources and manufacturing quality completion and set facility operations goals to improve processes.
Ensure compliance of company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures (including knowledge of all standards, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes related to the site).
The essential requirements of the job include:
Establish and manage QA tracking and trending of crucial external and internal performance measures (PPM) and the preparation of periodic reports for management review.
Chair the BU Management Review meetings.
Measure and Monitor site internal defects and other KPI's and ensure robust CAPA process and sharing of best practice across Pall Corporation QA organization.
Critically analyze, using appropriate sources of data, operations capabilities; setting strategy, structure, and processes to drive sustained quality improvement in local manufacturing facility while efficiently deploying our Danaher Business System (DBS) tools and concepts to drive compliance, maximize process efficiency and effectiveness.
Deploy site complaint handling processes and investigations and coordinate with BU Complaint Handling Unit (CHU) to meet customer needs and global KPIs.
Support site/BU regulatory agency and customer audits and follow up actions, supervise critical corrective/preventive actions at the sites.
Collaborate with NPD teams to ensure that quality attributes, manufacturability and lessons learned from existing products (e.
g.
, production performance, quality problems, complaints) are integrated into the design and manufacturing processes.
Bachelor's degree in engineering field.
Prefer 10 -15 years' experience in an Industrial environment and regulated industry, with multi-site or regional responsibility.
Prefer a minimum of 5 years of experience in QMS, quality processes and problem-solving methods with at least 5-7 years at senior leadership level.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Strong leadership ability, capable of creating followership through collaboration across the organization and ability to engage with internal/external customers, regulatory bodies, and cross functional teams.
Ability to lead in a global environment across different regions/cultures and delivers customer-centric solutions to meet current and anticipated needs.
Seeks, understands, and evaluates data in selecting the best options to pursue.
Ability to adopt a systemic view of process improvement to optimize products & processes and promote best practice across enterprise.
