1 Quick Apply Part-time 19 hours ago Full Job Description Under the supervision of the Associate Vice President for Human Resources and as a part of the HR People Operations Team, duties involve administrative details, public contact, and general office management with particular emphasis on managing employee files, scheduling/organization of employee training and activities, and office budgeting.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND
Responsibilities:
Employment duties will include, but not be limited to:
Receive and distribute incoming mail, evaluating it to identify items requiring priority attention by members of HR Receive and screen telephone calls, using independent judgement to determine priority of calls and referring non-HR calls to the appropriate office Process purchase orders and payment of invoices Reconcile credit card statements Manage the office budget and purchase supplies as needed Coordinate university events with events staff, such as holiday events and Silver Circle Recognition Maintain personnel files Provide administrative assistance to the AVP for HR/OD for legal cases and/or investigations Required Skills The position title will need:
Exercise of good judgement, initiative, discretion, and the ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality Strong organization and time-management skills Tact and efficiency in handling problems A commitment to completing tasks to the highest standards Required Experience High School Diploma Experience in a fast, paced office setting Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
